This relaxed and authentic workshop
introduces guests to Hiiumaa’s coastal food culture in a warm and
informal setting. Together we smoke
fresh local fish, prepare traditional fish appetizers and enjoy warm
smoked fish while listening to stories about island life, fishermen
and coastal traditions.
Participation is flexible — guests may actively join the cooking or simply watch, listen and enjoy.

This immersive two-day experience combines traditional fishing, local food, coastal storytelling and nature. Guests gain a genuine insight into a disappearing way of life — slow, meaningful and deeply connected to the Baltic Sea.
Active participation is optional: join fishermen at sea or enjoy the experience from the shore.
